Zambia finally won the 2012 African Cup tournament after beating Ivory Coast in the final match on this Monday. The victory was achieved through a penalty shoot-out kick after the two football teams was only able to play a draw 0-0 without a goal, within 90 minutes of the match and extra-time. Zambia advantage in penalty shoot-out was by a score of 8-7.

Failure of Ivory Coast in the final match as their two penalty kick executor Kolu Touere and Gervinho are failed to score a goal. While the team of Zambia, only Rainford Kalaba who failed to score.

Penalty shoot-out is also up to the stage of sudden death due to the fifth penalty kick executor duties there has been no winner of one of the team. However, Zambia soccer team proved that they are ready to be a dark horse in this tournament with plenty of surprises. Though the Zambia football team entered African Cup is not something new. Because at 15 times the prestigious tournament was held on the African continent, Zambia had reached the final twice.
