One of the Italian soccer club AS Roma, has announced that they managed to get a new player. The new player is Leandro Castan da Silva who purchased from the Corinthians, a Brazilian football club.

Leandro Castan is a footballer who plays as a central defender aged 25 years. AS Roma today is in desperate need of defenders to strengthen their defenses.

Representatives of the management of AS Roma said that they have signed an agreement with the Corinthians on the purchase of Leandro Castan da Silva at a price of 5 million Euro. The new player directly in the contract for four years until June 30, 2016.

Besides Castan, now AS Roma also aiming striker player Mattia Destro. Players who are still very young, who were aged 21 years, currently playing for two clubs Siena and Genoa. Destro has now scored 12 goals from his 30 appearances in Serie A, Italian league.

AS Roma is currently doing the tactical steps to bring this player to Rome. Although they was many times doing meeting with the Genoa, until now still there is no agreement. But the leaders AS Roma, Siena Massimo Mezzaroma said that they would be very happy if Destro will strengthen Roma.
