Actor Christian Bale proved he is a real-life hero after taking a four years old leukemia patient and his family on a trip to Disneyland. Jayden Barber’s friends and family set the little boy up a page to attempt to grant the youngster’s wish of meeting the “real Batman”. After Bale found out, he arranged a fun outing. Barber and his family were flown to Los Angeles for a trip to Disneyland on Wednesday and they were treated to lunch with Bale and his family.

Jayden’s mother, Charlene Gillingham Barber, posted photographs of the meeting on the Facebook page writing, “The entire interaction was like old friends having lunch. Jayden did not get star struck but was well aware of who we were with! They talked movies and superheroes and he (Bale) was genuinely happy to hear about everything Jayden wanted to tell him.

“Christian, his wife and daughter are three of the most beautiful people we have ever met! Christian made these arrangements for us personally and ensured we were treated like royalty. I don’t have even one negative thing to say about them. I can tell you that they were just as impressed w (with) Jayden as Jayden was w (with) them.”

Little Jayden was undergoing chemotherapy for bone cancer for two years before it turned into MDS leukemia last year. Jayden is now in remission. Bale also showed off his sweet side recently when he met with victims of the Colorado movie theater shooting at the Batman premiere in July.
